Oppo A5 may get launched in India next week: Reports

Smartphone maker Oppo launched its Oppo A5 with top-notch display in China last month. Now, a report has surfaced online which states that the smartphone may get launched in India in the coming week.
According to a report by 91Mobile, the smartphone is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000. The smartphone is currently priced at CNY 1,500 in China.
Oppo A5 : Specifications
For those unaware, the Oppo A5 features a 6.2-inch HD+ FullView display. It comes with 87.9 percent of screen-to-body ratio and has an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display has a pixel resolution of 720x1520 and is protected by 2.5D curved glass panel.
The smartphone runs ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The device is powered by 1.8GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC processor under the hood. It is coupled with Adreno 506 GPU technology.
The Oppo A5 comes with 4GB RAM and has an internal storage of 64GB that may be further expanded upto 256GB via micro-SD card.
As far as the camera is concerned, the handset sports a dual rear camera setup of 13MP and 2MP with f/2.2 aperture and f/2.4 aperture respectively. The camera has an LED flash as well.
Oppo A5 comes with a 8MP selfie shooter. The front snapper has an f/2.2 aperture and is powered by AI beautify features. Additionally, it is capable of recognising up to 296 facial features.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and micro-USB port. The device is backed by a 4230mAh battery.
