Sachin Shroff’s post after divorce with Juhi Parmar resurfaces: Packed off old model, got one that’s brand new

Celebs have learnt – probably the hard way – how to keep divorces from getting ugly in public arena. We have seen high-profile splits in the last few years but they are amicable and the stars continue to co-parent their children. However, in certain cases, the acrimony spills over into the public space and it is never good for the two people involved or their families. Something similar happened in the case of the Sachin Shroff-Juhi Parmar divorce.

The TV couple announced their split earlier this year and it has got more acrimonious from then on. In a post of Sachin that has now gone viral on social media, the actor reportedly had written with a photo of new car on the day he was granted divorce, “Defining day!! when you pack off an old model and get in one that’s brand new!”

According to a Spotboye report, the couple was granted divorce by a Bandra court on June 25 and Sachin headed to a car showroom immediately after the proceedings. The report says he also lost the custody of his daughter in the divorce. The post, in the light of the circumstances, has hit the wrong chord.

In a Bombay Times interview in July, Sachin had alleged that Juhi never loved him. “The divorce happened with mutual consent, amicably and in a dignified manner. Unfortunately, and by Juhi’s own public admission, she was never in love with me. One-sided relationships are doomed from the beginning. It’s said, ‘It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.’ But the fact is that it hurts to be in a loveless marriage. Nothing I did could make Juhi love me,” he had said.

Juhi had retaliated with an Instagram post. She wrote, “In those nine years, twice on the verge of separation and now a divorced wife, I really tired! I set aside my career and everything I had, to make this marriage work.” She also said that they had decided to not play the blame game publically as it was not in the best interest of their daughter.
