The Kuniyamuthur police will submit a report to the Revenue Divisional Officer (South) regarding alleged illegal activities organised by ‘Healer’ Baskar’s Anatomic Therapy Foundation at its Kovaipudure facility named Nistai, The International Life Style Training Centre.

Inspector (law and order) T.H. It is the RDO to take further action regarding its operation,” said Mr. Ganesh.

Baskar and manager of the centre Srinivasan were arrested and remanded on Thursday for offences under Sections 511 (Punishment for attempting to commit offences punishable with imprisonment for life or other imprisonment) and 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) based on a complaint filed by C. Johnson, a resident of Kuniyamuthur.

Mr. Ganesh said that medical equipment such as stethoscope were found during inspection conducted at the centre following the arrest of the duo. The officer added that various training programmes scheduled to be held at the centre, which has a staff strength of 30, were cancelled following their arrest.

On Thursday, Health Department had also filed a complaint with the City Police against Foundation after it allegedly circulated a notice on training session for women for normal delivery at home.
