Kishore Kumar’s fans organise ‘Ruk Jana Nahi Tu Kahin Haare Ke...’

The hit tracks of the legendry singer Kishore Kumar were played here on Saturday which was much enjoyed by the Kishore Kumar fans of the city.

Organized by Kishore Kumar Memorial Committee, the programme ‘Ruk Jana Nahi Tu Kahin Haare Ke..’ was held at Manas Bhavan to observe his 89th birth anniversary. The Bhopalites witnessed every colour of Kishore Kumar’s charm at the musical concert.

Some of the melodies of the legendary singer were performed which were much enjoyed by the audiences.

The hit tracks like ‘Chaltey Chaltey Mere yeh Geet Yaad Rakhna.. Kabhi alvida na Kehna..’ , ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas..’ were presented by the singers of the group Praveen Kahyab and Jaideep Sarkar.

On the occasion, many people took the pleasure to go back in the old times. The concert began with the song ‘Ruk Jana Nahin Tu Kahin Haar Ke. The programme was then followed with the songs like O sathi re, Pag ghunghroo, Bhigi palko pe, Janeman Janeman, Phoolo ka and more.

The programme was further followed by remembering the memories of Kishore Kumar. On the occasion the singers presented the hit tracks of the evergreen and every-youthful singer which was much appreciated by the audience.

The programme was further followed by ‘songs like Ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si, ‘ek ajnabi haseena se’, phoolon ka taaron ka sabka kehna hai and many more.

Meanwhile, another musical concert remembering the yoodling king Kishore Kumar was organised at Gandhi Bhavan. The event was organised by Kishore Kumar Sangeet Academy.

The Voice of India fame child singer Bhanu Pratap was also felicitated with Kishore Award on the occasion. The event ‘Kishoron Ke Kishore Kumar’ was all about child singers performing on stage the tracks of Kishore Kumar.
