Mumbai : Somaiya SA got the better of Golar India by a narrow 1-0 margin in a Third Division match of the MDFA League at the St Xavier’s ground, Parel. Striker Isteyaque Siddique netted the lone winner to seal Somaiya’s victory and the full three points.
In another encounter, Sara FA proved too strong as they outplayed Shree Mavli Mandal romping to an emphatic 6-0 victory. Sayed Abbas Rizvi and Gaurang Shinde both scored a brace of goals each, while Soheb Hazari and Dyaneshwar Jangitwar added one goal each.
