Old house crumbles in Nashik; two trapped

NASHIK: Two persons are feared trapped under the debris of a three-storey house which collapsed on Sunday in Old Nashik area, police said.

Rescuers extricated four persons, including a girl, alive from under the rubble of the building, located in Tambat Lane this afternoon, a police official said.

Personnel of fire, police, district disaster management departments are conducting rescue operations at the spot, he said.

The old house is located in a narrow lane.

Light showers hampered the work briefly, the official said.
