Man slits throat of woman

A 35-year-old village woman was killed by a man who slit her throat in the night of Friday hardly a few meters away from her house, police said. Dulari Devi (35) wife of Govind Rajak belonging to Dama village of Aura panchayat within limits of the Bagodar police station had left for natural call on Friday night around 11pm.

Sources said as she was walking in the narrow Dama village street when one Puran Mahto, intercepted her and picked up a quarrel. “As they were quarrelling, he took out a knife and slit her throat. Somehow she came her house and explained full of episode of incident and breathed last in her house courtyard, said a senior police officer.

According to reports released by Bagodar police that Puran Mahto, who married, was living with her wife, mother and son and was also residing in the same village at Dama and having illicit relation with Dulari Devi earlier and had fled with her for three months earlier,but after social interference they came in the village and living seperately.On Friday she came out her house for natural call and incident happened,police said.

Police have nabbed his mother,wife and son and started their introduction. But main culprit Puran Mahto still in large.
