Chris Froome has become a father for the second time following the birth of his daughter Katie. The four-time Tour de France winner posted a picture (above) on Instagram announcing that Katie had been born on Wednesday, just days after Froome returned home from this year's Tour, where he finished third overall behind Sky team-mate Geraint Thomas and Team Sunweb's Tom Dumoulin.
"Welcomed my little girl Katie to the world yesterday," he wrote. Froome and his wife Michelle already have a son Kellan, who was born in December 2015.
