The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Norfolk County and a flash flood watch for most of southeastern Massachusetts through 5 p.m. Saturday.

Thunderstorms with torrential rain will be capable of producing 1 to 2 inch per hour rainfall, resulting in the potential of localized urban and small stream flash flooding.

The affected area includes all of Norfolk and Bristol counties.with the possibility of damaging wind gusts and a low risk for a tornado.
