Poor woman cremated by Rengali MLA

An old poor woman of Amanapalli village under Kolabira block maintaining her livelihood by begging died on Thursday. Although she is survived by her husband, she couldn't be taken for cremation for want of money.

Getting information Rengali MLA Ramesh Patua reached the spot; and showing a rare act of humanity, arranged the last rites of the woman lifting her body on his shoulders with help of villagers near Bheden river. This act of MLA is being praised by general public in the district.
