Mumbai: The state education department on Friday declared the number of vacant seats in junior colleges of Mumbai Metropolitan Region(MMR) after the third merit list was declared on July 31.
According to the third merit list, 50 per cent of students were allocated admissions from the 1,17,234 who had applied; the list of vacant seats in 1,888 junior colleges in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region(MMR) shows 80,806 seats vacancies for online, 50,384 vacant seats for the minority quota and 9,812 for in-house. The fourth merit list will be displayed on August 7.
