Storm breathe sigh of relief on Smith

Cameron Smith has been cleared of a serious foot injury after the Melbourne captain pulled up well on Saturday morning.

Smith limped from the field in the 73rd minute of his side's 30-20 loss to South Sydney at ANZ Stadium on Friday and was immediately treated on the sideline.

However medical staff are confident the injury is not a serious one, and he will not require scans at this stage.
