Man dies in hospital two weeks after single car crash

A man has died in hospital two and a half weeks after his vehicle crashed into a tree south of Toowoomba on July 17.

Queensland Police said 69-year-old Texas, Queensland, man died after he lost control of his car and it hit a tree at Ellangowan on Toowoomba Karara Road about 7am.

He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
