Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 could get a Red variant in India soon, teases country head Manu Jain

Xiaomi may launch a Red colour variant of the Redmi Note 5 in India to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Redmi phones in India.

In a Tweet accompanied by an image, Xiaomi’s global VP and Country head said, “#5YearsWithRedmi: 5 yrs since 1st #Redmi phone was launched globally. Today @RedmiIndia is the most loved smartphone series in India. 1st Redmi phone in India was #Redmi1S & I've used every single Redmi device. Still have all of them! Can u identify them? Which is ur fav 1?”

The smartphone is available in India in two different RAM and storage variants - 3GB RAM/32GB ROM variant priced at Rs 9,999, and a 4GB RAM/64GB ROM model priced at Rs 11,999.
