DUBAI: Saudi energy minister Khalid al-Falih said on Saturday oil shipments through the strategic Red Sea shipping lane of Bab al-Mandeb would resume on Saturday, the state news agency SPA said.

Falih said the decision was made after the Arab-led coalition had completed all necessary security procedures.

Saudi said on July 26 it was temporarily halting oil shipments through the lane after attacks on two big oil tankers by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi movement.
