Indore : City Cyber Cell arrested a woman employee of a firm for allegedly creating fake Facebook profile of her boss’ wife on Saturday. The accused had also posted some obscene photos and videos to defame her.
According to SP (cyber cell) Jitendra Singh, one Mansi (name changed) lodged a complaint on January 27 last that someone had created a fake profile on Facebook in the name of Anjum Sharma and uploaded victim’s photos on it. Her mobile number, photos and objectionable videos were also uploaded on it.
The Cell officials started investigation when they found that a woman worked under the victim’s husband had created the fake profile. After the Cell officials arrested the accused, Shanu (name changed), she confessed to her crime of creating a fake profile.
The accused said that she was very close to her boss and his wife got to know about their relationship. She had told her to keep away from boss. Later, the accused created the fake profile to defame her and her husband. A mobile phone and SIM card were also recovered from the accused.
