ONGC Q1 profit up 58% to Rs 6,144 cr

State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) on Thursday reported 58 per cent jump for the June quarter net profit on realising higher prices for its produce. Its net profit of Rs 6,143.88 crore, or Rs 4.79 per share, in the first quarter of 2018-19 fiscal was higher than Rs 3,884.73 crore, or Rs 3.03 a share, in the year-ago period.

The company said in a stock exchange filing that its revenue from operations rose to Rs 27,212.83 crore from Rs 19,073.54 crore in April-June period of last fiscal.

Godrej Properties Q1 net falls 65.41%

Realty firm Godrej Properties on Thursday reported a 65.41 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 34.3 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2018. Its net profit stood at Rs 99.17 crore in the year-ago period. Total income, however, rose 18.96 per cent to Rs 1,066.73 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal from Rs 896.71 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, Godrej Properties said in a regulatory filing.

Pfizer Q1 net profit up 61% to Rs 92 crore

Drug firm Pfizer on Thursday reported 60.64 per cent rise in standalone net profit to Rs 91.84 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2018-19.  It had posted net profit of Rs 57.17 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Pfizer Ltd said in a filing to BSE. Standalone revenue from operations of the company stood at Rs 512.31 crore for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal. It was Rs 432.59 crore for the year-ago period.

Marico Q1 net up 10%

FMCG firm Marico on Thursday reported  10.25 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 260.13 crore for the quarter ended June 30. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 235.93 crore in April-June quarter of 2017-18. Total income during the reported quarter stood at Rs 2,050.8 crore. It was Rs 1,714.53 crore in the June quarter of 2017-18, Marico said in a BSE filing.

GE Power India net profit falls 77%

GE Power India’s standalone net profit dropped around 77 per cent at Rs 2.4 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2018, compared to the year ago period. The company’s standalone net profit was Rs 10.58 crore in the quarter ended on June 30, 2017, said a BSE filing on Thursday. According to the filing, its total income rose to Rs 467.32 crore in the quarter from Rs 388.39  crore year ago.
