The Two-Town police on Thursday arrested 32-year-old Gadi Satya Surya Chalapathi Rao for posing as naval officer and duping unemployed youth in the guise of providing employment in Naval Dockyard. The police said that Chalapathi Rao is a native of Srikakulam and resident of Hyderabad.
Rao posed as Naval Officer (Captain Rank) with a fake identity card, Naval Uniform and he attracted many unemployed youth in Vizag and surrounding areas.
Based on complaint from one of the duped youngsters B Tarun Kumar, the Two-Town police investigated the case and nabbed Rao.
The police appealed to the remaining duped youth to come forward and lodge complaint against Rao and also part with more information about Rao on mobile numbers: 9440904716 or 7989359509.
