On the day of his birthday India football captain Sunil Chhetri got a very special request from Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin urged Sunil to bring more medals to the country and take the game to the next level. Since 2005 Chhetri has made 101 appearances for India, has turned 34 today. Tendulkar with his wishes shared an old picture in which he can be seen in conversation with Sunil.

Sunil, who is bought by Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League (ISL). Has helped the club finish as runners-up in 2016 and almost won the I-League title twice before they joined ISL.

Chhetri will next lead India against Asia’s finest teams in AFC Asian Cup in the UAE which will be played in January.
Chhetri, is India’s finest football player with 64 goals to his name is also the third highest goal scorer in international football.
