Ujjain: Vivek Joshi takes charge as city BJP chief


Ujjain: Newly-appointed city BJP president Vivek Joshi took charge in a ceremony organised at Bharatiya Janata Party divisional office on Thursday.  Joshi was greeted at several places by party members during his way to party office.

Former city president and state executive body member Iqbal Singh Gandhi administered oath to Vivek Joshi. Senior party members including divisional organising secretary Pradeep Joshi, energy minister Paras Jain, former minister Babulal Jain, MLA Mohan Yadav, mayor Meena Jonwal, Shiva Kotwani, Kishore Khandelwal, Anil Jain Kalukheda, BJYM chief Amay Aapte and several other members welcomed and greeted the newly elected president and Gandhi, for his promotion as a member in state’s executive body.

Gandhi expressed gratitude to the party members for their support.  Joshi said that winning hearts of people is a collective effort and responsibility in which party workers play a pivotal role and we will take support of senior party leaders time to time for development and progress of the party
