In a bonanza for employees of colleges and universities, the government on Friday approved revision of pay scales as per the 7th The enhanced emoluments will benefit teaching and non-teaching staff of government universities and colleges and government-aided colleges.

The said the number of teaching and non-teaching employees who would be benefited from the enhanced salary included 1,990 in government colleges, 2,956 in government-aided colleges, 332 in Kurukshetra University, 287 in Maharshi Dayanand University-Rohtak, and the rest in five other government universities.
