BJP’s State Women’s Wing in forefront to ensure ‘CG-SKY’ success

The State Executive body meeting of Women’s Wing of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was held here at party’s office ‘Ekatma Parisar’ on Thursday.

The meeting decided to ensure the benefit of ambitious free mobile distribution to 40 Lakh women in the State under ‘Mobile Tihar’.

Addressing the meeting, BJP’s State President of the Women’s Wing, Puja Vidhani lauded the efforts of Chief Minister Raman Singh to empower the women in state by providing them smart phones.

“This will associate women with digital revolution and lead to their overall growth”, she said.

‘Mobile in hand and Smile in face’ is the motto of our Chief Minister and we the activists of party’s Women’s Wing will have to ensure the success of the programme of the ambitious SKY scheme launched by the Chief Minister, Vidhani added.

National Secretary of the Women’s Wing of BJP, Vibha Rao who was especially present on the occasion appreciated the foresight of Prime Minister Narendra Modi about strengthening the nation through digital mediums.

The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister had taken a step in this direction and had launched the SKY scheme and through this unique initiative, the Government is providing smart phones to women in state, she said.

“We have to take part in the movement launched by the Chief Minister and make it a grand success”, she said.

State Convenor of IT cell of BJP, Deepak Makshey  asserting that mobile phone is an important tool of social media said it has several other platforms too. It will play an instrumental role in the upcoming elections and we all have to equip ourselves in this field, he appealed.
