Police vehicles to be GPS-fitted in Gujarat soon

With a view to equipped State Police force with modern equipment, the State Government on Thursday decided to make all police vehicles Global Positioning System (GPS) enabled.

Gujarat CM announced the important decision of his government during review meeting on law and order situation in the State attended by Deputy CM Nitin Patel, Gujarat’s Minister of State for Home, Pradipsinh Jadeja and senior police officers.

With the use of GPS enabled vehicles, real time monitor of pollicising would become easier, said Rupani.
