DRI yet to inform Goa govt on ketamine seizure: Parrikar

Speaking in the House, Parrikar expressed the possibility that the recovered from the factory might not have been manufactured at the unit, but only stored there.

"We have officially asked the DRI to give us information about the raid conducted in Goa, but we are yet to get any formal communication from the central agency," he said.

"Whatever we know about the raid is through newspaper reports and also through information gathered by local police," he said.

When a racket is spread across multiple states, the state agency can't act in those cases, Parrikar added.

"We don't know whether the (ketamine) drug was manufactured here. As per my information, it was stored there," he said referring to the industrial unit from where the drug was seized.
