C Sivakumar, who has directed Arjun in Ayudha Poojai and Ajith in Rettai Jadai Vayasu, was a bachelor and lived in Vekateshwara Apartment. 

Sivakumar had not stepped out for three days and neighbours alerted the cops as a foul smell was emanating. The cops broke open the house and found Sivakumar’s decomposed body which was sent for post-mortem. 

Police said he is suspected to have suffered cardiac arrest two days ago while watching TV. With the house locked from inside and none to help him, he died within minutes with the remote in his hand.
