POWERGRID goes green with Solar PV systems

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited is establishing 5 MWp Rooftop Solar PV Systems in more than 50 locations of its own premises across the country, towards sustainability and green initiative. Presently more than 500 kWp solar PV systems at its various establishments are already under operation. Another 140 kWp is expected to be commissioned in Townships at Sec - 43 and 46, Gurugram (Haryana) before Independence Day.

RPF/N Rly Debate Competition on Human Rights

National Human Rights Commission, Debate competition on Human Rights-2018 (Delhi Zone) was organized by RPF, Northern Railway at Rail Auditorium, National Rail Museum, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi on Thursday. Seven forces namely, BSF, CISF, CRPF, RPF, ITBP, NSG and SSB participated in the event. Dr. Anthony Raju, Advocate Supreme Court and President Human Right Council (NGO), Smt. Sumedha Dwivedi (IPS), SSP/NHRC and Sh. JKP Singh, CPO Administration/Northern Railway were the members of the jury.

Footwear show at Pragati Maidan from Aug 2-4 

The fourth edition of India International Footwear Fair kicked off at Pragati Maidan on Wednesday. The fair, which will run between August 2 and 4 will exhibit a wide range of products including footwear, machinery, equipment, technology, accessories components and chemicals. According to the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Suresh Prabhu, the Indian  footwear  industry  has  to  look  beyond  the  domestic  market as India has the potential to become the global footwear  manufacturing hub in the near future.
