Body of JD (U) MLA Beema Bharati's son recovered near railway tracks in Patna

PATNA: Police recovered the body of former minister and ruling JD (U) MLA Beema Bharati's son from railway tracks near Nalanda Medical College and Hospital here today.

Rail police said here that a body was recovered from the railway tracks in a suspicious condition and he was later identified as JD (U) MLA Beema Bharti's son.

The body has been taken to GRP police station at Rajendra Nagar terminal.

Ms Bharti represents Purnea district`s Rupauli constituency in the state assembly.

Police said prima facie it appeared to be a case of suicide adding that the exact cause of death would be known only after the receipt of autopsy report.

Sources said police are investigating the case.

On the other hand, MLA Beema Bharati started crying inconsolably after she saw the body of her son at the GRP police station suspecting that he was murdered.

JD (U) MLC Sanjay Singh alias Gandhi Ji and a large number of party leaders and workers also reached there and were trying hard to console Ms Bharati.
