Mixed trend in edible oils

The edible oils market witnessed a mixed trend as imported oils — palmolein and soyabean oil — lost ₹3 and ₹5 per 10 kg each, while indigenous oils ruled steady. During the day, hardly 200-250 tonnes of palmolein were resold at ₹662-664.At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin increased by ₹10 to ₹1,450 and loose (10 kg) was at ₹910 (900). BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 920 (920), soya ref. 745 (750), sunflower exp. ref. 750 (750), sunflower ref. 790 (790), rapeseed ref. 905 (905), rapeseed exp. ref. 875 (875), cottonseed ref. 820 (820) and palmolein 665 (668).
