MPCB chief presents diploma certificates to 77 students

Principal Secretary Environment and Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board Anupam Rajan on Wednesday presented diploma certificates to 77 successful students of PGDEM course 2017-18 of EPCO Institute on Environmental Studies. This is the sixth batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management (PGDEM) course. The institute has organized more than 70 training programmes since the last seven years.

Calling upon the students, Anupam Rajan said that the course experiences should be executed in the field of environmental protection and promotion in a practical way. This will be a huge contribution to the ecological development of our society, country and the world.

 He told the students to stay connected with the social media and share their work and experience with different sections of the society. Rajan told the students to make regular visits to the villages from time to time and inspire the villagers to take up environmental activities.

EPCO Director General Rajan presented mementos to the guest subject experts of the course and honoured them. The experts honoured at the programme include Former Chancellor Barkatulla University Ramprasad, former Director Indian Institute of Forest Management RB Lal, Watershed Mission Advisor KG Vyas, former Director of the Meteorological Department DP Dubey, and experts from the Pollution Control Board, WALMI, Institute of Excellence, MANIT, Benazir College and Barkatulla University.
