(PTI Photo) (PTI8_1_2018_000270B) Chennai: After the sensitive health condition of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, many popular personalities have come to meet him. Now, actors Ajith and Goundamani also met Karunanidhi in hospital. Both the actors met the DMK Chief Karunanidhi separately and also enquired about his heath with DMK working President MK Stalin.
Karunanidhi has been hospitalised since last Saturday, when he faced a sharp drop in his blood pressure. Ajith met ailing Karunanidhi in hospital in the presence of actor Udyanidhi Stalin, who is grandson of Udyanidhi Stalin. Moreover, when Goundamani met Karunanidhi, Dravidar Kazhagam party veteran Veeramani was present with him.
Earlier on Wednesday, actor Vijay met Karunanidhi, who is hospitalised in Kauvery Hospital. Vijay met him for about 5 minutes in presence of Udhayanidhi and Stalin. Congress President Rahul Gandhi visited the hospital and met Karunanidhi on Tuesday. He also enquired about his health with Stalin.
Later, on the same day, actor-politician Rajinikanth visited Kauvery Hospital, immediately after returning to Chennai from his trip to Dehradun. On Monday, PM Narendra Modi also met the DMK chief and inquired about his health. The hospital administration announced that Karunanidhi will continue to be hospitalised, although there has been much improvement in his condition since he was admitted.
