Two more FIRs against Mamata, she says 'not scared'

Two more FIRs were filed against Minister in today for her alleged "instigating remarks" that threatened the unity of the country and her attempt to create unrest in the state, of Police (DGP) said.

The DGP told reporters in Guwahati that two cases were filed against Banerjee today at the stations in Guwahati, in addition to the one filed against the (TMC) in district yesterday.

Reacting to the development, Banerjee told reporters in Kolkata, "They have done such a great thing. I am sitting here in What will the FIRs against me in do?"

Taking a dig at the BJP, she said the saffron party lodged an FIR every day.

"They had lodged an FIR when we had gone to Arvind Kejriwal's residence. They will get it back. I am not scared. I speak for the people. They can lodge millions of FIRs against me, I do not care.

"We know we are living in a super emergency. There is no democracy in the country," Banerjee said.

She also wondered why section 144, CrPC was imposed in the districts of if there was peace and everything was fine.
