US intelligence officials told Washington Post that satellite images of a North Korea site previously used to make intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) show renewed activity — shipping containers and trucks capable of transporting missiles are “coming and going”. Intelligence officials and experts say Korea appears to be building a liquid-fuelled ICBM — they are considered less threatening than solid-fuelled ICBMs as they take time to fuel up. These are missiles, and not nuclear bombs, but ICBMs can carry nuclear payloads to faraway targets. North has conducted 6 nuclear tests so far, all before the summit.
