About 20 students of a private school in Tiruttani were injured after the school bus they were travelling in collided with a mini bus coming in the opposite direction near Madur village in Tiruvallur district on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, the private school is located in Santhanavenugopalapuram. On Wednesday morning, Balu, the school bus driver, picked up 20 students from Madur and was heading towards the school.
When the vehicle passed Madur, it took a turn and collided with a mini bus from B.R. Palli heading towards Madur. All the students were injured. The mini bus driver Vinayagam was also injured.
The injured were given treatment at a private hospital. A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
