'Fanney Khan' actor Rajkummar Rao says content finally getting its due respect in cinema

In 2017, Rajkummar Rao dominated the industry with his variety of content based films, such as 'Newton', 'Trapped', 'Bareily Ki Barfi', 'Shaadi Main Zaroor Ana'. He will be back in 'Fanney Khan' alongside Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and debutant Pihu Sand. The actor was recently in the national capital for the promotions of his film. During an exclusive talk with E Times, Rajkummar Rao said, 'I think this is great times for cinema...content is finally getting it's due respect, it was always there but probably now audience wants to see more of content than just anything on screen. That's the reason that so many films last year and even this year, did so well at the box office, because of the change in their thought process. I am really happy that I am in the right time in the industry where people want to see actors playing characters on screen. They respect that and come out with those characters in mind.'
