HARARE, Zimbabwe—Police seized computers and arrested several people in a raid of the offices of Zimbabwe’s main opposition party, a party spokesman said Thursday, a day after three people died in clashes between the military and protesters angry over the slow release of presidential election results.
Police in riot gear and manning water cannons were stationed outside the party headquarters in the capital Harare and surrounding streets were cordoned off. Most shops in the city center-remained shuttered.
