Ujjain: Smart cards of Sambal Yojana to be distributed soon


Ujjain: Collector Manish Singh convened a review meeting and instructed all officials concerned that smart cards of the Mukhya Mantri Sambal Yojana must be distributed by Independence Day. They were also instructed to make a detailed programme for distribution of the cards by the public representatives. The collector also decided to organise a training camp for the vigilance committees formed for execution of the Mukhyamantri Sambal Yojana.

He reviewed the workings of different departments and instructed to hold a meeting of district level taskforce within a week. Additional collector Deepak Arya, municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal, CEO smart city Awadhesh Sharma, additional collector BBS Tomar, ADM GS Dabur, Ujjain development authority CEO Abhishek Dube, joint collector Varsha Bhuria and other officials attended the meeting.

The collector instructed to make a strategy for registration of purchase of crops by farmers under the Bhavantar yojana and support price as per the guidance of the Government. He advised officials that every farmer should avail crop insurance scheme of the Government. The pending complaints must also be redressed soon, the collector instructed.


Preparations assigned for Independence Day

Preparations of Independence Day were assigned department wise to department heads by the collector.  As the main programme of Independence Day will be organised at Dussehra Maidan, the collector instructed cleaning, flattening and barricading of the ground properly. He said the tent should be water proof in view of rainy season with proper sitting arrangements and health care facilities should be provided near the programme venue to deal with any untoward situation.

Official to check mid-day meal strictly

According to instruction of the collector the qualitative analysis of mid day meal to be served to students in various government schools should be conducted by the officialsregularly in the district and its village areas also.
