YSR Congress Party MLA RK Roja on Wednesday said the Vizianagaram incident wherein a tribal women suffered a miscarriage after being carried on a ‘doli’ for nearly 12 km, reflected the abject failure of the State government in meeting the basic requirements of the people.
Interacting with the media here, Ms. Roja said it was high time Chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu woke up to ‘the ground realities’ and worked for the betterment of the people or else they would revolt and teach a fitting lesson.
On the controversy surrounding the alleged missing of Lord Venkateswara’s jewellery, she said the TTD should assure people that their offerings are safe. She demanded that details of the offerings be made available online.
