A male foetus, approximately four-five months old, was found abandoned at a park in southwest Delhi's Masoodpur area, police said today.
Police were informed about the foetus by the locals on Monday, they added.
A case has been registered under section 318 of the Indian Penal Code which pertains to concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body and is punishable with a maximum jail term of two years and a fine.
