Man cut from car after single-vehicle crash in Ainslie

Firefighters had to cut a man out of his car when it crashed in Ainslie on Tuesday evening.

The man was treated at the scene and taken to hospital in a stable condition after the single-vehicle crash, in which a Volkswagen left the road on Edgar Street in Ainslie.

An ACT Fire and Rescue pumper and a command vehicle were called to the crash at 4.44pm.

ACT Policing also attended the scene.
