Three notorious robbers arrested in Amethi

Three allegedly notorious robbers wanted in several robberies were arrested in Uttar Pradesh's district today, the police said.

A police team led by the SHO of station SK Pandey nabbed three robbers near Harakhmau village on the under suspicious circumstances, Additional SP BC told reporters.

They were identified as of Shahpur, of Tendua and of village Mangrauli under police station Bazar Shukul, he said.

Later, they confessed to their involvement in several incidents of robbery, he added.

The police recovered 10 cell phones, four motorcycles, a country-made pistol, some live cartridges and cash worth over Rs 2,000 from the possession of the three men.
