Virat Kohli removed Joe Root through an acrobatic run-out
Team India skipper Virat Kohli found a way to answer Joe Root's 'drop the mic' action as he removed the England captain with a direct hit for a run-out with some fascinating athleticism and seals his departure with a flying kiss on Day 1 of the 1st Test at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
Root, who was once again looking quite dangerous as he was nearing his ton, failed to convert his 41st fifty into triple figures and departed for 80 (156 balls faced).
The athleticism of the Indian skipper to find the wickets from a long way out has left peopled flabbergasted and it didn't take long before people took to Twitter to troll the England captain and praise Kohli. Take a look.

Coming to the England captain, the 27-year old Englishman has often found it hard to convert his fifties into hundreds. Root has scored 41 fifties and 13 centuries in Test cricket whereas when it comes to Kohli, the 29-year old has hammered 21 centuries and has hit 16 fifties in the 67 Test matches he has played.
This responce by Kohli may not be official to Root's celebration in the third ODI where the English captain led the hosts to a series win, however, that can only be done with the bat. For now, Kohli celebrates Root's dismissal with a flying kiss.
At Tea, pacer Mohammed Shami struck twice and Ashwin picked up a wicket as well.
Shami (2/27) bowled an incisive spell after lunch, dismissing Keaton Jennings (42) and Dawid Malan (8) as India piled on the pressure in the second session.
Jennings was the first to go, but in an odd manner. Just prior to his dismissal, there was a pigeon near the pitch that distracted him and in the very next ball, he played on after the ball clipped his pads.
It was a lucky breakthrough for India as their pacers found movement after the break. Ishant Sharma (0/37) and Shami bowled closer to the England batsmen and made them play more often with the latter reaping reward.
