Technology just seems to be getting better and better with every waking second and opening a car door with your phone is another rung on the ladder.

The Mercedes-Benz CLS is fitted with a mobile key, where you can use your iPhone or Android handset to open and lock it.

Who needs a key anyway..

It makes use of Near Field Communication (NFC) where the driver can lock and unlock the car by simply touching the handle of the car with the phone.

The phone is also required to start the car by placing it in the centre console, while simultaneously charging your phone as well.

Plenty of manufacturers have been integrating keyless entry technology in their cars with the use of receivers needed in order to start the car.

Just make sure your phone is charged or else you won't be able to get in at all.

This brings a whole new meaning to using your phone while driving.
