Seven people died after a speeding Audi car went off the road and rammed a shared auto and a bystander near Sundarapuram, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday morning.

Five women and two men died in the incident.

The driver of the car was identified as Jagdish, owner of Rathinam College, Coimbatore. He was found unconscious in the car after the accident.

Three dead have been identified as Subashini, a college student, Velamal, and Hamsaveni. The car driver has been handed over to the police.
