Samsung Galaxy On8 Specifications: The phone is claimed to come with the industry-first, AI-powered dual-camera features. The dual-camera setup at the back delivers Samsung’s flagship ‘Live Focus’ feature with which users can bring focus to the foreground while blurring out the background. The smartphone sports a 6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The Infinity Display provides nearly 15 percent more display area without increasing the overall size of the device. Galaxy On8 has a polycarbonate unibody and runs on Android Oreo 8.0 OS. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and comes in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage (expandable up to additional 256GB). It houses a large 3,500 mAh battery.
The Galaxy On8 also has Background Blur Shape, Portrait Dolly, and Portrait Backdrop features. With Background Blur Shape, users can add soft light effect in different contextual shapes. Samsung has also included a ‘Made for India’ “Chat Over Video” feature with which users can watch videos while chatting. The feature has a transparent keyboard that pops up over the video so that users can type while watching content on the smartphone. Another ‘Make For India’ feature, Samsung Mall, is pre-loaded in the phone. The feature uses AI to let users shop by clicking a picture of the desired product and automatically getting results for the item across popular e-commerce platforms.
