JNU to accept CAT score for admission in its MBA program from next year

NEW DELHI: Jawaharlal Nehru University's newly announced School of Management and Entrepreneurship will give admissions based on the CAT scores, University Vice-Chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar tweeted today.

Confirmed by JNU Rector 1 Chintamani Mahapatra, who said that it will be in place from next year and JNU will be a new entrant to the list of non-IIMs which would be accepting CAT scores for admission to their MBA programme.


This management programme will be offered through the School of Management.

CAT has released its official notification and the online registration for the exam will begin form August 8, 2018 and the registration process will end on September 19, 2018.

The 2018 exam will be conducted on November 25 this year.

There are 100 questions in the CAT question paper. The exam is conducted in two sessions and each session will have a different question paper.

After CAT, every IIM and non-IIM announces its separate selection criteria and procedure based on the CAT score. Form next year JNU will also set its criteria, where students who qualify CAT will have to then apply there.
