Heavy rain likely in Kumaon

The State Meteorological Centre forecasts heavy rainfall, especially in Kumaon region of the State, for the next 24 hours. Many other places across the State are likely to have heavy rainfall on Wednesday, as per the Met department.                                        

As per the report received from the State Met centre, the weather would remain generally cloudy in Dehradun on Wednesday. One or two spells of rain and thundershowers are likely to lash some parts of the city on the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31 degree Celsius and 23 degree Celsius respectively on Wednesday.

The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in several towns of the state on Tuesday are Dehradun 31.6 degree Celsius and 23.6 degree Celsius, Pantnagar 27.5 degree Celsius and 24.0 degree Celsius, Mukteshwar 18.8 degree Celsius and 14.6 degree Celsius and New Tehri 23.4 degree Celsius and 17.8 degree Celsius respectively.
