Mumbai, Aug 1 (PTI) Groundnut oil prices rose further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following sustained demand from stockists and retailers on the back of restricted supply from producing region.
Elsewhere, linseeds oil also gained further owing to good demand from paint and allied industries.
Meanwhile, refined palmolein eased further due to lower demand from retailer.
Industrial oils also slipped following subdued demand from soaps and shippers industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil surged by Rs 30 per 10kg to Rs 920 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 890, but, refined palmolein moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 670 as against Rs 675.
Moving the non-edible section, linseeds oil edged up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 940 as compared Rs 938 previously.
However, castorseeds bold declined by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 4,480 from Rs 4,490 and castoroil commercial edged down by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 926 as against Rs 928. PTI BPD
