In May, Google-backed GO-JEK had said it will invest $500 million on its International expansion that will include Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines.

Earlier this year, Go-Jek raised a reported $1.4 billion funding from investors like Google, Tencent, Temasek, Meituan-Dianping, JD.com and Astra International among others. The company claims to have over 1 million registered drivers across Indonesia and facilitate over 100 million transactions per month.
