Fire extinguished at Dickson College

A small fire was extinguished at Dickson College about 3.45pm on Wednesday, ACT Fire and Rescue reported.

On arrival at the scene firefighters found dark smoke coming from the heating system in the plant room.

All occupants had already evacuated before firefighters arrived and no injuries were reported.

ACT Fire and Rescue said firefighters would remain on scene to conduct atmospheric monitoring and ventilation operations to make sure the area is safe.
