Peas prices advanced by Rs 100 per quintal in lacklustre trade at the wholesale pulses market today on the back of rising demand from demand against restricted arrivals from producing belts.
However, other pulses continued to trade in a tight range in limited deals and settled at previous levels.
Marketmen said strong demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing regions, mainly kept peas prices higher.
In the national capital, peas white and green advanced by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,900-3,950 and Rs 4,000-4,100 per quintal, respectively.
